STORY AND HIGHLIGHTS
Último Guerrero is the ring name of José Gutiérrez Hernández, a Mexican professional wrestler publicly identified with CMLL. The company presents him as a long-tenured figure who rose from smaller promotions to become a major headliner. His career is especially notable for his extended run in Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre, where he has been multiple-time CMLL World Tag Team Champion and CMLL World Light Heavyweight Champion; he held the latter title through numerous defenses before losing it to Rey Bucanero in 2006. He has also been a key member of the Guerrero family of factions, especially Los Guerreros in its different eras. Among the best-known moments of his career are his participation in apuesta matches and other major Arena México clashes, plus high-profile rivalries with wrestlers such as Rey Bucanero, Atlantis, Volador Jr., and Averno.
